Marvel vs. Capcom 3, omg guys Marvel vs. Capcom 3

So Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and the Capcom VS. Fighting series was kind of a big deal. I mean, who wouldn't want to see Mega Man and wolverine face off?  OK so they were very over the top fighting games and in the case of MvC2 quite unbalanced at times, but there was just something about them that made them be an absolute blast to play even if you had no idea what you're doing. The fighting was easy to grasp but had lots of depth and crazy combos to it and each successive vs. game just got better and better.

Hey Guys Remember when video game commercials were cool?

If this didn't make you want to run out and buy Mortal Kombat when you were a kid, then clearly you must be some kind of cold blooded ALIEN.

Hardware review: DSi XL

Bigger Is Better?

In a crazy world where we're all about making smaller electronics, the fact that Nintendo would do the exact opposite  and come out with a larger DSi is a little odd, but thankfully its exactly the kind of DSi I was looking for! I've been using an old "fat" DS for awhile now (one of the Red Mario Kart models) and resisted updating to the DS Lite as it felt too small to me. Thankfully Nintendo came along with the XL, and it does not disappoint.

Dr. Sega Hate, or how I stopped worrying and gave up trying to find a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga

Where it all started to go wrong

1998 was the end of the Saturn, and to me it felt like an end before it ever really started. Why you ask? Because 1998 was the year with the BEST releases for the damn system. Despite this, Sega completely screwed over its Saturn users during this year, and I will be doing so discussing  the best titles of that sad sad year of '98.

Dr. Sega Love, or how I learned to stop worrying and love the Saturn

The "Genesis" of my Sega Fandom

I was a Nintendo man.

Honestly if you were born in the 80s you probably were too. The problem was, the Nintendo systems were usually shared with my brother. They never really felt like "mine". That all changed when I got my Sega Genesis. Of course this was preceded by a Game Gear, but the less said about that thing the better.
